Dear Grandma, I cherish our memories in my heart and mind. You and I were close, I am grateful to have had you in my life for so long and for all the times we spent together- watching your programmes in bed, going for hot chocolate & cake and for walks, lots of things really. Before you were diagnosed, life was very different. It was hard for all of us to see how the Alzheimer's affected you but I can't imagine how you felt when this was happening. I admire your strength and determination to get things done, even when you were physically unwell. It didn't stop you from keeping the house clean and making yourself look lovely. Your cheekiness didn't go astray throughout, you were definitely a character. You always were on my side and made me feel better, especially when you called me your little angel. But you were my little angel too because you were smaller than me ;) that's what we'd say. My Grandma Rosemarie, one of kind. Forever loved 💖
